Scope / Summary

The Infrastructure Phase 1 project consists of renovated and new surface parking lots, road improvements, utility support to future buildings, new sidewalks, and landscaping over a majority of the campus. 

Design has been completed with DSA approval obtained on February 13, 2008.  Currently the Infrastructure Phase 1 project is being advertised and the anticipated bid opening date is May 6, 2008. 

After bid opening and the identification of a successful bidding contractor, the SDCCD facilities staff will recommend award of a contract. It is anticipated to gain SDCCD Board approval in late May or mid June with a construction start in early June or July.  The project is scheduled for completion in mid 2009.
