Project Budget                           $1.6 million

Project Cost                               $1.35 million

Construction Duration                 2007 – 2008

Scope/Summary

Modular Village consisted of the construction of 11 portable classrooms and a restroom facility at the City College Student Parking Lot #2. This space will be utilized for classroom swing space to support the other Prop S & N projects. As projects come online, classes that were previously scheduled in affected buildings will be temporarily located in these portable classrooms.

Modular Village is anticipated to remain until the completion of the Business Technology building, after which it will be removed for the construction of the new science building.

The project was completed successfully in early 2007, below budget and on time. Remaining funds will be reallocated to support various Prop S & N City College projects.
