Scope/Summary

The infrastructure phase 2 consists of the utilities upgrades throughout the campus and along the 16th St. and 15th St. corridors. It is anticipated that numberous smaller projects will take place to support the construction of new and renovated buildings. The design team is now in progress with the design of the new 16th St. sewer line  replacement as well as the 15th St. sewer relocation.

As of 12/15/08, Utilities upgrade is in the conceptual/research phase. The design team is moving forward with surveying and utilities research and locating to establish the benchmarks for the Civil engineering desigh backgrounds. The replacement of the 16th St. sewer line to serve the Science Bldg., the Business Technology bldg., the Career Technology center and the General Purpose Classroom Bldg. is approximately 50% complete. The design team is scheduled to meet with the City in the next few weeks to review the design and make sure that the approach is acceptable.
